WILTON, NY (November 11, 2011) - The Saratoga Hospital Women’s Imaging Center and Sundaes Best Hot Fudge Sauce raised $2,000 for the American Cancer Society to fight breast cancer during a month-long fundraiser in October. Diane Young, Breast Health Nurse at the Women’s Imaging Center at Wilton Medical Arts partnered with Katie Camarro, Sweet Chief at locally owned Sundaes Best Hot Fudge Sauce, to develop the fundraiser which sold jars and gift boxes of Sundaes Best Hot Fudge Sauce with a portion of each sale donated to the cause.
A check for $2,000 was presented to Keith Davidson, the Adirondack Regional Director of the American Cancer Society earlier this week.
“The Breast Health Center is blessed to have a friend like Katie who went above and beyond to help us make this year’s fundraiser the best we’ve ever had,” said Diane Young, Breast Health Nurse at Wilton Medical Arts.
“We are so appreciative to Katie and Sundaes Best for paying it forward and to Diane for, again, spearheading support efforts through The Saratoga Women's Imaging Center. This was a wonderfully sweet endeavor in support of the mission of your American Cancer Society,” said Keith Davidson, Adirondack Regional Director of the American Cancer Society.
